Project Shree Pokhari Primary School: Located in Kumari - 7, Upallo Jhangly, Nuwakot is established in 2045 B.S. of Nepalese Year that was privileged to open 1 - 5 grade class from the Government of Nepal. The Government of Nepal has been providing 2 teachers from it budget, that used to teach all grade student every subject. Considering the problem of the teacher, and the education of those student, the village was able to implement 3 teachers. But due to the financial crisis of the villagers, that are below the poverty line, they have been so far collecting donation from events organized by students in festive times.

This sort of funding from the students has not been sufficient to provide monthly expense of all the 3 teachers. Therefore, Shree Pokhari Primary School authorities wish Project Nepal to help at least fund 1 full time teacher for the school.

PROJECT ON HEALTH:

Project on Health related to Water: Hile Kharka, a Tamang village is located north west of Kathmandu, can be reached by driving the Pasang Lhamu Highway and taking a dirt road heading north west leaving the black toped road. The dirt road was constructed by the villagers to connect the main highway, which distance is about 5 kilometers.

The village being located in a very hilly area (elevation 2100m). lacks water source. Therefore pipeline was installed 12 years back with the help of kind Japanese to get the water from the forest nearby. But due to elevation problem, the water running through the pipeline is hardly 50% flow and in few places pipe has to be repaired, replaced & position changed in order to collect water in reserve tank on hill top. The reserve tank is in quite bad shape and requires maintenance now and due to growth in population, the water is not sufficient for entire village, school and the Mahadev Temple nearby. Therefore the water has to be pumped by using solar powered pump for 200 to 300 meters above to tallest point to reserve in at least 20000 liters poly tank. The reason to have the reserve tank in the high place is to make distribution easier and accessible below.
