Current Project: Located in the Nuwakot District, Aru Kharka village is about 46 kilometers only from the capital city of Kathmandu. It is at the height of 2450 meters, where the major population comprise of Tamangs with Brahims mixed. There are about 290 houses, whose occupation is mostly farming. The village has only 1 school, Primary Level (Grade 5). There are 235 total students being taught by only 4 teachers and limited class rooms. Not enough with the government support, the school is in the worst condition, both physically and academically. Therefore, we donated sum $3000 for the construction of their 2 classrooms which were in immediate need.

What was the problem? In our first visit to explore, we have found that there an immediate need of good facilities to study in the school. Good Facilities, include Classrooms, Playing Ground, Toilets, and Staff Rooms.

Our initial phase of developing the school, was to provide materials, and land to construct good classrooms. Therefore, Project Nepal's - Mingma Dorji Sherpa, donated personal fund to built 4 classrooms. The classroom is currently finished with roofing and walls.

Please see the complete pictures of the NEWLY BUILT CLASSROOMS
