Donation at Orphange 1998: Kathmandu
Valley reside many orphange that provide care and shether
for the orphans. With the increasing number of the orphans
residing in the orphange, we discovered that there was a need
for material supports immediately.
After visiting the site, we knew that there was something
that the PROJECT NEPAL could do at the least. Our first option
was to purchase materials for the orphange rather thatn providing
cash. Often providing cash to an orphange, we would not find
out whether it was used for the right purpose or not, therefore
we intend to buy things.
During our visit and distribution of the things in the orphange,
we found that it directly benefited the orphans. General commodities
like fan, rice, shoes, were used during the summer season.
In our visit, we also re-discovered the happiness of donating
items that were in need for the orphange. This has not stopped
us for further researching other places in the area for more
social work.
We were pleased to donate many items to the orphanage at Balaju
Orphanage, in Kathmandu. We are delighted for our accomplishment.
